Quick Overview
The TL-WA850RE can extend your existing network coverage by connecting itself to your primary router wirelessly (the one serving your primary Internet connection) and extends your network via WiFi or Ethernet connection. So your WiFi capable devices like mobile/smart phones would be able to connect to your network through WiFi connection, while wired devices like SmartTV, Gaming Consoles, etc would be able to connect to your network via Ethernet cable.
Notable Features
- Smart Signal Indicator Light: An LED light bar indicator, lets you determine the signal strength being receive by the device from your main router. This feature helps you to find the best place to put your exteder device. It’s recommended that you choose a location where at least 3-signal bars are present. The Signal Quality Indicator, enables you to find the best location to place your extender, for a guaranteed peak performance. 3-signal bars indicates good signal.
- Easy Setup and Flexible Placement: Easily connect the extender device to your main router by just pressing a button. Press the WPS button on your router, and the RE button on your TL-WA850RE within 2-minutes - to pair the two devices. Once paired, you can unplug and plug back the extender to any wall outlet in your home or office, where you'd want to kill deadzone.
- Tether App for Easy Use: You can download the Tether App for your iOS or Android enabled hones to easily manage or access various features of the device, like the LED Control/Night Mode function.
